Ping Chong and Company Managing Director Jane Jung and Associate Director Sara Zatz will lead an interactive workshop sharing the history of Ping Chong and Company’s multidisciplinary arts practice, with a focus on the ways in which theater and the arts can address multi-faceted identities,  open community dialogue, and serve as tools for social change. They will be joined by poet and advocate (and AALFY alum) Serena Yang, a current cast member in Ping Chong and Company’s upcoming Generation Rise project, which shares true life experiences of NYC teenagers during a year of COVID and uprisings for racial justice. The workshop will include hands on activities for sharing of personal and community narratives.
